New Flyer, part of NFI Group, is seeking an Electrical Development Specialist in Crookston, MN or St Cloud, MN to train the Electrical Department and support the Learning Institute with development programs.

You will deliver practical training, identify competency gaps, enforce electrical safety standards, and mentor the Electrical Cell Team while optimizing training effectiveness and cost benefits for the plant.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 5 years in an electrical technician role with a focus on on-the-job training techniques.
• Deep understanding of engineering schematics/drawings and ability to apply them practically.
• Ability to interpret electrical data sheets and apply them in training contexts.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple training programs and priorities.

Aufgaben

• Deliver practical and technical training to the Electrical Department in coordination with the Learning Institute.
• Collaborate to establish performance standards, assess competency gaps, and define targeted training needs.
• Enforce electrical safety standards and report/correct unsafe practices or conditions.
• Mentor the Electrical Cell Team in observing, drafting, and refining SWIs and PQS.
• Analyze performance measures and determine if training interventions are needed.
• Support development of training methods and validate cost-benefit of training.
• Lead Learning Institute administrative processes including material prep, attendance, evaluations, and Training Matrix maintenance.
• Organize electrical resources with leadership to schedule personnel for training.
