Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Trainee to begin a hands-on path toward becoming a licensed electrician. You will work alongside a journeyman, gaining experience on new multifamily and commercial construction projects and learning the full scope from distribution to rough-in, trim, and decking.

The program emphasizes safety, training, and core company values. A high school diploma or GED and reliable transportation are required, with the possibility to obtain an electrical trainee

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to learn electrical codes and safety requirements.
• Ability to obtain an electrical trainee card and perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Work with a licensed journeyman electrician on OJT to become an electrician.
• Assist electrical installations on new multifamily and commercial projects.
• Learn all scopes from distribution to rough-in, trim and deck work.
• Participate in the official training program and attend classes as required.
