Job summary

Team UIS is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to source, screen, and hire top talent in the skilled trades and electrical industry. You’ll partner with hiring teams to define role requirements and criteria, source candidates, and maintain clean ATS data to streamline hiring processes.

You will attend job fairs, refine recruiting processes, and contribute to employer branding initiatives while upholding confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (OneDrive).

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring teams to define role requirements and hiring criteria.
• Source active and passive candidates using job boards, social media networks, and other resources.
• Screen and interview candidates to assess experience, skills, and alignment with Team UIS core values.
• Maintain clean and accurate data within ATS to help streamline hiring.
• Attend job fairs and other events to increase outreach.
• Assist with refining recruiting processes.
• Assist with employer branding & recruitment marketing initiatives.
• Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Contribute to the overall success of Team UIS by performing additional duties as needed.
