Job summary

BLOX is seeking an experienced Electrical Trade Manager to lead electrical field operations, quality, and code compliance across manufacturing and construction. This role acts as the company’s licensed electrical authority, overseeing trade planning, constructability reviews, labor forecasting, and on-site performance to ensure all BLOX modules meet codes and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Master Electrician license required.
• Minimum of 8 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience with leadership or quality assurance responsibilities.
• Deep knowledge of the NEC and state/local amendments.
• Experience with modular construction, manufacturing, or industrialized building preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical trade field operations across assigned projects and manage labor forecasting.
• Review design documents for constructability and provide feedback to the design team.
• Build a detailed work schedule for all trade activities and coordinate with Site Field Leadership and PM.
• Recruit, hire, and manage Foremen and below based on approved headcounts.
• Establish safety training and look-ahead requirements for trades.
• Review field time for all trade staff and ensure cost coding accuracy.
• Oversee electrical quality and code conformance across modules and projects.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and maintain relationships with authorities having jurisdiction.
