Job summary

BCES Global is seeking an Electrical Testing Technician II in Maryland to join our Power Services Division. This role focuses on acceptance, maintenance, and commissioning testing of electrical power distribution equipment for hospitals, data centers, and other critical facilities.

You will inspect breakers, transformers, and switchgear, perform insulation resistance and winding tests, and document results. Requires NETA NICET Level II and 2+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• NETA Level II or NICET Level II electrical power testing experience.
• Two+ years in electrical testing, commissioning or related field.
• Experience with low- and medium-voltage distribution equipment.
• Ability to read one-line diagrams and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, maintenance, and commissioning testing of LV/MV equipment.
• Inspect breakers, switchgear, transformers, cables, and protective devices.
• Document test results and field observations accurately.
• Follow OSHA and NFPA 70E safety procedures.
• Assist with testing, relay testing, transformer testing, and power quality investigations.
• Travel for overnight assignments as needed.
