Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Electrical Pre-Tester for our Sumter, SC facility. The role supports electrical testing of switchboard products, validates wiring and components, and documents findings to ensure quality and timely order fulfillment. The position runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.

to 2:30 p.m. with an hourly pay of $25.00 and eligibility for an incentive program. Ideal candidates bring at least 6 months of electrical testing and wiring experience, a high school diploma or GED, and knowledge of

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in Electronics or Mechatronics or military tech school equivalent is required.
• Minimum 6 months electrical testing experience and 6 months wiring experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect wiring and test switchboard products per work instructions.
• Verify switches and circuit breakers function correctly.
• Document nonconformances and communicate issues promptly.
