Job summary

Eaton's EPG CHD ALP Airport Lighting Products division is seeking an Electrical Tester to support the production floor with testing and validation duties. You will set up tests, identify failures and work with engineering to troubleshoot, while ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of technician experience in manufacturing, with hands-on use of DMMs, oscilloscopes and related tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of technician experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 2+ years experience in basic testing tools (DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, hi-pot testers, calipers & dial indicators, environmental chambers).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work with production supervisor to identify required product test and validation requirements.
• Set up and perform such testing on the production floor, including in production cells.
• Identify product failures and assist engineering in troubleshooting.
• Implement corrective actions in test methods or product assembly.
• Support electrical and mechanical safety requirements in the work cells.
• Develop and deploy Windows OS images for HMIs and manage licensing.
• Support Quality by analyzing returned units and determining root cause.
