Job summary

Summit Interconnect in Santa Clara is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to support the day-to-day operations of the Electrical Test Department, operating test equipment and software to evaluate PCB assemblies.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience testing PCBs, be fluent in English, and able to document test results and sign off travelers as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electrical testing of printed circuit boards or printed circuit board manufacturing.
• Speak, read, and write English fluently.

Job Description

Summit Santa Clara currently has an open position for an Electrical Test Technician. Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications.

Position Summary: Follows the day-to-day schedule and operations of the Electrical Test Department. Operates the various test equipment and software required for electrical test. Receives and moves jobs through the Test Department.

Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electrical testing of printed circuit boards or printed circuit board manufacturing. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. General Ability to:

• Speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Comprehend industry standards, customer specifications, designated reference materials and their appropriate application.
