Raytheon is seeking successful candidate to perform any combination of the following tasks in support of the evaluation/rework/repair of various product lines including (but not limited to) electronics, electronics assemblies, power supplies, high-power distribution assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, cable/harness assemblies, electronics rack-mount systems/chassis, circuit card assemblies, and other similar-complexity assemblies.
What You Will Do
- Evaluate failed electrical assemblies, products, components, and software – using test and measurement equipment to determine the root cause of failure down to the component level – with strong emphasis on evaluation hands-on experience.
- Strong Focus on troubleshooting Power Supplies
- Electronic troubleshooting through technical experience and knowledge – NOT through the use of pre-written step-by-step procedures
- Strong sense of ownership and self-driven to meet or exceed deliverable expectations.
- Work with senior Electrical Engineering, test technicians, and product Quality Assurance towards evaluating, repairing, and moving failed assemblies through established Repair & Return processes.
- Read and interpret Assembly Drawings and Schematics
- Maintain control of all Electro-static Sensitive Device (ESD) precautions and processes – ensuring full compliance to established ESD processes.
- Support the culture of Continuous Process Improvements (CPI) Projects
This will be a 1st shift, onsite role.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires an AA/AS degree or other 2 year post high school training with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Electrical/electronic evaluation/troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.)

Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with use of test and evaluation measurement equipment, including (but not limited to): DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Supplies, and RF equipment, etc.
- Electrical Test Technical degree
- Experience in troubleshooting Power Supplies and RF
- DoD experience

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
