Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide technical support in electrical testing for current production and new model additions. You will design, develop, and validate electrical test systems for high-volume manufacturing, collaborating with engineering, quality, production, and material services to introduce new models and enhance test capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as listed in Essential Skills.
• 2+ years experience in automotive or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits and schematics; hands-on & software-focused.
• Experience developing software in C#, C/C++, and SQL; PLC programming.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for electrical testing in current production and new models.
• Design, develop, and validate electrical test systems for high-volume manufacturing.
• Set up machines for new models, retooling equipment, and implementing machine vision solutions.
• Investigate and develop new testing methods, templates, and tools for R&D.
• Troubleshoot test equipment to reduce downtime and false failures.
• Develop, modify, and maintain SQL databases for testing and reporting.
• Implement design changes to improve performance and compliance.
• Train production and maintenance staff on test equipment and processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve product quality.
