Job summary

IEM is seeking a Test Supervisor in San Antonio, TX to lead daily test operations across product lines, manage test technicians, and ensure safe, compliant electrical testing. The position is 100% in-office with relocation to Brooks site and will report to the VP of Quality & Reliability.

The role requires 3–5 years in electrical testing, 2+ years leading teams, and strong knowledge of test equipment and safety standards, including UL and NFPA 70E.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical testing, manufacturing, or related field.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong experience with electrical test equipment and troubleshooting required.
• Experience in medium voltage or power systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of Test Technicians across specific product lines within the site.
• Align test execution with production schedules and site priorities to maintain flow and prevent bottlenecks.
• Oversee electrical testing activities including Hi-Pot, Megger, functional testing, relay testing, current injection, and system validation.
• Drive troubleshooting of wiring errors, control logic issues, and component failures to minimize downtime.
• Support development and refinement of test procedures, work instructions, and standard processes.
• Train and mentor team members on test procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and safety practices.
