Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, is seeking an onsite intern/co-op in Largo, FL for Electrical/Computer Engineering students. You will work with production/test teams to analyze hardware and software test requirements and develop solutions to test issues, collaborating with technicians, operations, and QA to drive improvements.

The role requires active enrollment in an Electrical or Computer Engineering program and citizenship or eligibility for access to the program.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to the program/contract.
• Experience may be obtained through coursework or projects.

You Will Do:

• You will work as part of a team to analyze Hardware and Software test requirements and specifications.


• You will develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity and efficiency improvements.


• You will interact with test technicians, factory operations support, other engineering disciplines, and quality assurance to work towards common solutions.

You Will Learn:

• You will gain experience working within a production and engineering environment with future engineering peers.


• You will gain operational experience with test equipment and current real-world production within a Consolidated Manufacturing Center.


• You will learn how to conduct an efficiency investigation utilizing CORE methodology to streamline processes and ensure operational success.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Electrical Engineering classes and laboratory experience during academic career.


• Experience working with MS Office tools.


• Experience working with EE lab equipment (Power meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, etc).

Role Type Definition:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.

This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
