RTX is offering hands-on experiences through internships and co-ops in the aerospace and defense sector. The role focuses on capturing and decomposing requirements, allocating them to domains, and supporting verification and certification activities.

You will interact with OEMs and internal teams, learning to manage scope, schedule, and cost while working in AGILE program increments and sprint planning. This role is onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA, US.

Qualificações

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM discipline and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Educational background covering requirements capture & definition, integration, verification & validation testing.

Responsabilidades

What You Will Do

• Support requirements capture from aircraft Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
• An educational background covering requirements capture & definition, integration, verification & validation testing.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Basic experience working within an aerospace related engineering development environment
• Basic experience with DOORS, JIRA, JAMA, and data capture tools or any other tools that achieve the same functions.
• Experience or knowledge using data bus tools such as A429 and A664 readers for data analysis in design, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting
• Basic experience with the AGILE framework for workflow planning and development
• Basic working knowledge of a software language such as Python, C++, is an advantage

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
