Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer to join our on-site team in Gilbert, AZ. You will design, develop, and execute test procedures for spacecraft hardware and EGSE, with opportunities to travel internationally for launch campaigns.

The role requires system-level test experience, scripting ability, and strong problem-solving skills, with potential for shift and weekend work on a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Be completing their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution by December 2026.
• Be majoring in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Engineering or a related STEM field.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance, SCI access, and complete a Counterintelligence Polygraph examination prior to start (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
• Demonstrate ability to listen effectively, take direction, and possess initiative to accomplish assigned tasks and complete work in a timely fashion
• Demonstrate ability to learn and integrate new programming languages based off previous experience

Responsibilities

• General frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
• Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
• Understands NG test engineering practices and principles.
• Supports EGSE and flight hardware test/troubleshooting efforts and ability to perform this task with little to no oversight from another Electrical Engineer
• Travel and support different shifts when required
