Job summary

Stellar Energy, headquartered in the United States, seeks an Electrical Test Engineer to perform electrical validation, safety testing, and performance verification of modular chiller systems. You will conduct hands-on lab testing, execute test plans, and certify control panels before shipment to data centers.

Responsibilities include testing transformers, breakers, contactors, VFDs, and starters; documenting tests and generating compliance reports for production release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Physics (with circuit-lab coursework).
• Prior electrical internship, co-op, or 1–2 years lab/testing experience required.

Responsibilities

• System Testing & Validation: create and run factory test procedures and validation routines for modular electrical packages.
• Power Component Qualification: test and troubleshoot contactors, Wye-Delta starters, VFDs, power blocks.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: instrument test-chassis, analyze data, and write detailed test reports.
• Compliance Verification: ensure equipment meets electrical safety codes and client requirements.
• Technical Collaboration: work with design engineers and lab staff to fix failures and implement corrective actions.
