SMT Corp is seeking an Electrical Engineer for its state-of-the-art Electrical Test Lab in Sandy Hook, CT. The role supports defense, aerospace, and high-reliability programs through testing and verification of electronic components.

You will design fixtures, automate tests with LabVIEW, analyze results, and collaborate with Sales, Quality, and Management to ensure compliance with MIL specifications and manufacturer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Experience designing PCB test fixtures for electronics.
• Experience with LabVIEW to automate testing.
• Knowledge of MIL, AS6171/AS6081 preferred.

Responsabilités

• Interpret customer testing flowdowns and MIL drawings and provide quotes.
• Design PCB test fixtures for passive to RF components and complex devices.
• Write software to control and automate test equipment.
• Analyze testing results and generate summary reports.
• Provide technical support to Management, Quality Control and Sales.
• Communicate testing requirements to customers clearly.
