Job summary

Andrews Cooper Technology Inc. seeks an Associate Electrical Test Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA to join a hands-on hardware team. The role focuses on developing and validating test methods for digital and analog designs, batteries, and microcontrollers, in a collaborative lab setting.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, travel between client sites, and contribute to a fast-paced product development cycle with on-site work required. A strong background in EE and Python is essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of professional hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of both digital and analog design including test methods.
• Experience with writing test scripts using Python.
• Experience with testing batteries and battery management systems.
• Experience with testing microcontrollers and programmable logic devices.
• Experience using lab equipment like oscilloscopes, DMMs, programmable power supplies, etc.
• Experience in board bring-up, system bring-up and validation.
• Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
• Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Background checks are required.
