Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electrical Test Development Engineer (STARLINK) to own the development of test solutions for characterizing reliability and performance of Starlink customer devices. You will design, implement, and verify test solutions for production and reliability testing, coordinating with electrical, silicon, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.

The role involves building automated test platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to test strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of hardware development or electronics test engineering experience (internship and extracurricular experience applicable).
• 1+ years of programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test solutions for high-volume consumer phased arrays, WiFi routers, power supplies, and upcoming products.
• Select commercial-off-the-shelf hardware and/or design custom PCBAs to measure signals and power units under test.
• Write automation software in Python to interact with units under test, test equipment, field data, and production docs.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test lab teams to drive improvements for reliability and yield.
• Challenge assumptions and seek simple solutions to complex problems.
