Job summary

SpaceX in the United States seeks an Electrical Test Development Engineer for Starlink customer hardware. You will design, implement, and verify development, production, and reliability test solutions for Starlink dishes, Wi-Fi routers, and power units, influencing design with senior leadership and collaborating across electrical, silicon, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.

You will develop automated Python tests, select test hardware or PCBAs, and drive product reliability and yield

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or another engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of hardware development or electronics test engineering experience (internships/extracurriculars count).
• 1+ years of programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test solutions for high-volume consumer hardware (phased arrays, Wi-Fi routers, power supplies).
• Select off-the-shelf hardware or design custom PCBAs for measurement and testing.
• Write automation software in Python to interact with units under test, test equipment, and data systems.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test teams to improve reliability and yield.
• Challenge assumptions and devise simple, robust testing solutions.
