Job summary

Delta ModTech in Ramsey, MN is seeking an Electrical Technician Supervisor to lead a team of Electrical Technicians. You will ensure safe, productive operations, manage daily wiring, testing, and installations, and drive on-time project delivery while coaching technicians to improve skills and performance.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program is required.
• Extensive field and in-house experience in electrical systems is essential.
• General understanding of electrical theory and advanced electrical code.
• Ability to read electrical prints (ladder prints), sketches, diagrams and blueprints.
• Experience in navigating Microsoft and/or industry specific software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to Electrical Technicians.
• Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable for safety, quality, productivity, teamwork, and schedule.
• Conduct regular one-on-one conversations, performance reviews, and development discussions.
• Provide timely, specific, and constructive feedback.
• Identify training needs and create development opportunities for technicians at all skill levels.
• Support onboarding and technical training for new employees.
• Coordinate mentoring and skill development with senior technicians.
• Promote teamwork, collaboration, and open communication within the department.
• Plan, assign, and monitor daily electrical production activities.
• Balance workloads and coordinate assignments across multiple concurrent projects.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, and completion dates.
• Escalate concerns and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate priorities and safety concerns.

Education

Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in a technical field
