Job summary

Howard Industries, Inc. in Quitman, MS is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead a crew of electricians and technicians, ensuring safe, code-compliant work across projects and facility operations.

You will review blueprints, supervise daily activities, mentor apprentices, and coordinate with engineers and project managers while maintaining documentation and compliance with NEC/OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license (required).
• 5+ years of electrical experience, including 2+ years in a lead/supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews
• Review blueprints, schematics, and work orders to plan job execution
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
• Conduct safety briefings and enforce PPE/lockout-tagout procedures
• Inspect completed work for quality and code compliance
• Troubleshoot complex electrical systems (power distribution, motor controls, PLCs, etc.)
• Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of electricians and apprentices
• Manage material and tool inventory, order supplies as needed
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades
• Maintain accurate documentation (permits, inspection reports, timesheets)
• Respond to and troubleshoot emergency electrical issues

Responsibilities
