Kratos Defense and Security Solutions is seeking an Electrical Technician in Crane, Indiana. The role entails assembling electrical systems and harnessing for suborbital launch vehicles, testing and operating these systems, and reviewing schematics to develop test procedures. Candidates should possess practical experience and knowledge in power design.

Qualifications

• Two years of post high school education with a focus on electronics, mathematics or other engineering related courses.
• Four years of practical experience in electronics assembly and/or operation.
• Can substitute education for 2 additional years practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical systems and harnessing for suborbital launch vehicles.
• Test and operate electrical systems under senior staff direction.
• Review requirements and wiring schematics to devise test specifications.
• Execute field assembly and checkout of subsystems before final assembly.
• Work independently and in a team environment.

Skills

Knowledge of MIL SPEC Cable fabrication

Knowledge of power design/power electronics

Hands-on experience with electrical cabling

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Obtain and maintain job-related certifications

Valid drivers’ license

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Education

Two years of post high school education in electronics or related field

Four years of practical experience in electronics assembly and/or operation
