Kratos Defense and Security Solutions is seeking an Electrical Technician in Crane, Indiana. The role entails assembling electrical systems and harnessing for suborbital launch vehicles, testing and operating these systems, and reviewing schematics to develop test procedures. Candidates should possess practical experience and knowledge in power design.

Kratos is currently seeking an Electrical Technician in Crane, Indiana. This role is responsible for practical understanding of the required system(s) as well as providing technical support as needed. Assist lead technician(s) and engineer(s) as needed. Activities may include but are not limited to: building and setting up electrical test equipment, preparing and conducting qualification and acceptance tests, performing system integration and testing, and operating support equipment during launch operations. Must also be able to read wiring schematic diagrams, assemble cabling, and integrate electronic/mechanical components into space flight vehicles. May require up to 40% travel to support launch operations.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and work in elevated areas such as ladders or platforms while performing job duties. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hardhats, gloves and steel‑toed shoes will be worn during all hazardous activities such as equipment lifting and vehicle loading operations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to work independently as needed but most work is done in a team environment working alongside other contractors. Must possess a positive attitude and represent Kratos in a professional way at all times.
