Job summary

Arconic is seeking an Electrical Technician to join the Plate Mill team in Davenport, Iowa. You will support and maintain electrical systems, provide technical leadership on outages, and train craftspeople to improve skills.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in electrical work within manufacturing, and candidates must pass an electrical proficiency exam. Flexibility with hours is expected to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years’ electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Pass an electrical proficiency exam.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain a safe work place by active involvement in the safety processes and Arconic's policies.
• Provide technical and tactical support on planned and un-planned equipment breakdowns and outages on production centers.
• Train and mentor Unit Supervisors and craftspeople, enabling continuous technical skills improvement.
• Lead the effort in development of SOPs, WIP’s and related procedures on new and existing equipment; provide training on the procedures.
• Lead problem solving and root cause analysis efforts, providing documentation and record retention.
