Job summary

Arconic Corporation in Davenport, IA is seeking a Senior Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will support maintenance, diagnose electrical issues, read drawings, and repair high and medium voltage equipment to keep production flowing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship or electrical journeyman’s card.
• Minimum of 5 years’ electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to read electrical drawings, troubleshoot to root cause, and implement repairs.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain a safe workplace by following EHS policies.
• Fulfill the High Voltage Designee role for the plant.
• Provide technical leadership on maintenance for production centers including equipment and control systems.
• Train and mentor Supervisors and craftspeople, developing training plans.
• Develop and enforce SOPs, WIP, and related procedures for equipment.
