Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Electrical Technician (1st Shift) for the ES AMER ARS PDCAD division. The role focuses on final inspection and functional testing of Eaton products to ensure quality before shipment.

You will develop and execute test plans, perform electrical testing, interpret schematics, troubleshoot failures, and document repairs across panels, structures, and assemblies. Core hours 6:00 am–4:00 pm; starting rate $27/hour with incentive eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Two years of work experience in power distribution or electrical distribution OR pursuing related Associate’s degree.
• Relocation not offered; reside within fifty miles of Greenwood, SC facility.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting complex circuits.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection and functional testing of Eaton products before shipment.
• Develop and execute test plans; conduct electrical and electronic testing.
• Inspect components and connections across panels, structures, and assemblies.
• Diagnose issues, document repairs, and ensure proper functionality.
• Interpret diagrams and work instructions to set up and test equipment.
• Maintain test equipment, calibration status, and inspection records.
