Job summary

Liberty Energy is seeking an Electrical Technician in Midland, TX to maintain medium voltage equipment and ensure safety and readiness. The role requires hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and adherence to maintenance plans while coordinating with the Electronics Manager on schedule changes and resource needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience with switchgear, transformers, relays, and protective devices, plus a technical diploma or journeyman credentials.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and delivering equipment maintenance schedules.
• Experience meeting on-time delivery goals and managing workloads.
• Preferred qualifications: Electrical Technology Diploma, Journeyman Electrician, NCCER certification.
• Able to read and comprehend drawings and written instructions.
• Familiar with arc flash and shock hazards; safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Performs emergency troubleshooting of power distribution systems.
• Provides expert advice, training, and technical assistance to support staff.
• Performs mechanical maintenance, overhaul and reassembly of medium voltage breakers.
• Performs medium voltage switchgear testing.
• Maintains and meets pre-planned maintenance schedules; communicates timelines.
• Updates Electronics Manager on maintenance changes and readiness.
