Cotulla Education is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician Instructor to train the next generation of electricians. You will deliver classroom and hands-on lab instruction on electrical systems, safety, and industry practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of four years hands-on experience in the electrical trade or three years of teaching electrical programs.
• Strong understanding of electrical tools, systems, codes, and safety practices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Teach electrical theory, wiring methods, systems, and troubleshooting in classroom and lab settings.
• Deliver instruction aligned with industry standards, codes, and workforce expectations.
• Instruct students on proper and safe use of tools and equipment, emphasizing OSHA standards.
• Maintain and update lesson plans, instructional materials, and lab activities with program leadership.
• Monitor and document student attendance, progress, and performance in school systems.
