Job summary

Tec Centro Network is seeking an experienced Commercial/Residential Electrician to become a full-time Trade & Technical Instructor. You will deliver engaging, hands-on training that prepares adult learners for real-world success and support their transition from field to classroom.

Responsibilities include teaching electrical systems and safety, introducing maintenance fundamentals, and mentoring diverse learners while maintaining OSHA and code standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in electrical work (commercial and/or residential).
  • Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, safety practices, and electrical systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Tec Centro Network is a workforce development organization focused on preparing adults for careers in the skilled trades. They are seeking a Commercial/Residential Electrician (mechanical maintenance experience a plus) who is ready to step off the jobsite and into a full-time instructor role.

No formal teaching experience? That’s okay—we value real-world experience and will support your transition into the classroom.

What You Will Do

Required Qualifications

  • Journeyman license or relevant certifications
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance

  • Experience working with adult learners or career transition populations
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly valued
