Job summary

Dorsey College is seeking an Electrical Technician Instructor to deliver quality classroom and lab instruction. You will assess student learning, provide feedback, and ensure a professional, compliant environment.

The role requires strong communication and instructional skills, with commitment to student success and program objectives. Instructors collaborate with Academic Dean and other departments, participate in meetings, and uphold the college's policies and standards while pursuing

Qualifications

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent; further education preferred for some programs.
• Michigan Master or Electrical Journeyman License required; or a post-secondary credential in the field.
• Relevant post-secondary education or experience in teaching electrical courses.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver quality classroom instruction in lecture or lab formats.
• Assess student learning and provide ongoing feedback to improve outcomes.
• Maintain classroom environment and ensure policy compliance.
• Support other departments and participate in faculty activities.
