Job summary

Aafes is seeking an experienced electrician to install, modify, repair, troubleshoot, load and test electrical lines, systems and equipment up to 550 volts at customer facilities. Under designated supervision you will work with fixed refrigerant systems and related controls as required.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 5 years of electrical experience, and EPA 608 Type I/II certification; Type III and Universal Technician are preferred for low-pressure systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year general experience plus 4 years specialized electrical work.
• Ability to use power and hand tools and test equipment.
• Valid driver’s license as required by local/state laws.
• EPA 608 Certification (Type I and II) required for stationary refrigerant systems.
• Type III certification preferred for low pressure systems (chillers).
• Universal Technician preferred but not mandatory unless work involves low pressure systems.
