Job summary

ENFRA Solutions is looking for an Electrical Technician III to perform installations, alterations, additions and repairs of electrical systems across residential, commercial and industrial sites in Louisiana. You will work to meet project timelines while following quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include on-time site reports, tool maintenance, blueprint reading, wiring per NEC, panelboard/transformer installation, and mentoring helpers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ years electrical installation experience.
• Experience in terminations (aluminum and copper) and twisted pair cable.
• Understand OSHA safety requirements and NEC compliance.
• Ability to read blueprints/shop drawings.
• Knowledge of proper grounding practices and transformer protection.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Report to assigned job site location on time as directed.
• Maintain and store tools and equipment properly.
• Safely use tools, equipment and materials.
• Organize materials and tools to keep work area neat.
• Read labels, maps, manuals and written instructions.
• Direct/train helpers and apprentices in proper practices.
• Direct work of level 1-3 workers to meet production goals.
• Plan and organize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Perform accurate layout of electrical systems with code clearances.
• Install panelboards and transformers; understand NEC-based wiring.
• Understand spacing for duct banks and cable arrangements.
