Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6+ years of experience in electrical work and terminations.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and NEC compliance.
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
• Experience with grounding practices, panelboards and transformers.

Responsibilities

• Install, alter, add and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Read labels, maps, manuals and instructions accurately.
• Direct/train apprentices and supervise level 1–3 workers.
• Plan and organize tasks to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Troubleshoot and communicate solutions with customers.

Education

6+ years experience

OSHA knowledge

Blueprints/shop drawings

Code compliance (NEC, grounding)

Tools

Electrical test equipment

Conduit bending tools
