Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Five years of experience with engines or engine-powered equipment.
• Ability to set-up, calibrate and use measurement devices and test equipment.
• Understanding of a specialized technical area.
• Demonstrated ability to learn complex engineering software.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret data and create technical documentation.
• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Performs non-routine engineering tests using specialized measurement devices and test equipment.
• Fabricates prototype components and assemblies for product testing.
• Documents all aspects of tests including objectives, procedures, results, conclusions and recommendations.
• Compiles and analyzes engineering data; analyzes test and design data and prepare reports.
• Analyzes problems and recommends solutions; expedites prototype parts or assemblies.
• Develops, prepares and makes recommendations for schematics, designs, test procedures and/or specifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
