Job summary

MaxWell Biomedical is seeking a Circuit Board Work & Bench Technician to assemble, rework, and modify PCAs, including SMT and through-hole components, while maintaining high-quality documentation and compliance.

You will read schematics, fabricate prototypes, perform tests with lab equipment, and collaborate closely with engineering to resolve issues in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical technician experience in regulated or R&D environments.
• Ability to read schematics, BOMs, and drawings.
• IPC-A-610 knowledge is a plus; awareness of 21 CFR 820/IEC 60601 is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, rework, and modify PCBA including SMT and through-hole components.
• Perform soldering, desoldering, and component-level repair to IPC standards.
• Read schematics and drawings to build or modify hardware; fabricate prototypes and cables.
• Execute electrical test protocols on prototypes and pre-production units; operate lab equipment and collect data.
• Document failures and communicate findings to engineering with clear context.
