Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA is seeking an Electrical Technician for the Panel Shop to wire, test, and troubleshoot control panels.

You will read electrical schematics, follow work instructions, and train new employees while working independently with minimal supervision.

This role requires hands-on wiring experience, ability to use power tools and hand tools, and a commitment to quality workmanship at the leading supplier of motors and controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years wiring experience required.
• 4+ years of related experience.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics.

• Use basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wire strippers, socket sets).

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for an Electrical Technician in our Panel Shop. You will be responsible for wiring, testing, and troubleshooting the panels that control equipment such as motors, compressors.

Primary Responsibilities

• Wires electrical controls panels following layout, work instructions, and appropriate standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics to properly wire control panels.
• Assist line specialist with training of new employees.
• Work independently with very little direction from Line Specialist or Supervisor

Education

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred

Experience

• 2+ year of wiring experience - Required
• 4+ years of related experience
• Read and interpret electrical schematics - Required
• Use power tools - Required
• Use basic hand tools (Screwdriver, wire strippers, socket sets) - Required
