Job summary

Solution One Industries, Inc. is seeking an Electrician to perform testing, calibration, maintenance and repair of electrical and fire life safety systems at JBMDL Lakehurst, NJ.

The role requires installing wiring, devices and systems and ensuring safe operation in accordance with federal and state codes. The candidate should read schematics and blueprints, work from specifications, and diagnose electrical problems while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret schematics and blueprints and perform standard computations.
• Familiar with a range of hand and power tools used by electricians.
• Five years of technician or journeyman level commercial experience; NEC knowledge and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follows procedures, regulations and guidelines while minimizing errors and safety risks.
• Complies with National Electrical Code and company standards when wiring equipment; adheres to safety policies.
• Works from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; installs, maintains and operates electrical systems and equipment.
• Locates and diagnoses problems in electrical systems or equipment; records inspections and repairs performed.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
