Job summary

Aebi Schmidt Group is hiring an Electrical Technician to support electrical systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement engineering changes across our product lines, including chassis and equipment. You will diagnose faults, install components, perform tests, and document results on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred) and at least two years of automotive electrical experience, with proficiency in schematics and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in electrical systems support in automotive.
• Experience using schematics and electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work overtime on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and solve complex electrical problems.
• Install missing components as needed.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Lead resolution of defects and reworks.
• Document defects to Quality.
• Interact with Electrical Engineering on issues.
• Maintain electrical documentation for shop floor.
• Meet production goals.
• Support manufacturing and OEM service.
