Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery is seeking an Electrical Technician to diagnose and repair electrical defects in vehicle assemblies. The role requires reading wiring schematics, interpreting MES system data, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment on the shop floor.

Candidates should have 3+ years of automotive electrical experience or equivalent education, plus hands-on tool experience. ASE certification or Battery EV familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience or high school diploma or equivalent education.
• Basic hand tools and basic electrical tools experience.
• Vocational training, apprenticeship or other related experience in automotive electrical systems.
• ASE Certification and Battery EV experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following safety procedures and 6S standards.
• Interpret and process information through the MES System and record results.
• Read and interpret wiring schematics to diagnose issues.
• Follow written instructions and input data to prevent assembly issues.
• Inspect and repair supplier harnesses and diagnose electrical defects throughout the NGDV.
• Utilize equipment such as DVM, torque tools, and DC tools for diagnostics and repairs.
• Assist in driving back defects to the origin and implement preventative actions.
