Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in Sparks, NV is seeking an Electrical Technician to support 24/7 battery manufacturing. The role involves testing, checkout, modification, and troubleshooting of high‑voltage electrical systems up to 480VAC.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, experience with electrical maintenance in a production environment, and be able to work 12‑hour shifts. PECNA QET certification is required for internal candidates.

Qualifications

Experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480VAC.
Ability to work a 12-hour shift (day or night) to support 24/7 battery manufacturing QET and Electrical PM support.
Working-level knowledge of English (reading, writing and speaking).
PECNA QET certification required for internal candidates.

Responsibilities

Perform QET and electrical preventative maintenance for 24/7 plant operations.
Provide on-call QET support including breaker reset, LOTO confirmation, and ZVV checks.
Support CPST with electrical systems expertise such as high power troubleshooting and wiring.
Perform electrical PM tasks including grounding, cable management, and ensuring secure terminations.
Adhere to PPE requirements and safe working practices.
