Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking an Electrical Technician to keep our manufacturing operations running smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, and production equipment while performing preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability. This role primarily operates on 3rd shift.

You will work with production personnel, contractors, and vendors to resolve issues, document actions, and maintain safety and efficiency across the facility.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a 16-month course at an accredited university required.
• Corrugated manufacturing and converting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of machinery and electrical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
• Work with production personnel to troubleshoot electrical issues
• Work with outside contractors and OEMs to troubleshoot and repair plant equipment
• Locate sources of problems by observing machines in operation and using measuring instruments
• Perform electrical troubleshooting using the proper tools and PPE
• Control downtime by performing routine preventive maintenance techniques
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions
• Use CMMS to document work and account for parts
• Communicate with the team using verbal, written or electronic communication
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
