Job summary

Eaton seeks an Electrical Technician (1st Shift) in Houston to plan, test, and inspect standard and custom MCC cells and panels. You will troubleshoot issues, follow specifications, and ensure calibration and maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications

• High school/GED with 2+ years in electrical assembly/manufacturing environment.
• Or an associate's degree with 1 year of related manufacturing/test exp.
• Or a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, electronically/electrically test and inspect MCC cells and assemblies.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and report findings to supervisor/engineering.
• Prepare apparatus for test, move, and position as required.
• Perform mechanical insulation tests and electrical sequence tests.
