Electrical Technician - 1st Shift (Finance)

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician for the first shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Key responsibilities include:

1. Completing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, following technical manuals and specifications.
2. Collaborating with production personnel to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
3. Working with outside contractors, vendors, and OEMs to repair plant equipment.
4. Locating problems using observation, listening, and testing instruments.
5. Wiring and installing AC/DC motors, drives, and motion control equipment.
6. Performing electrical troubleshooting with proper tools and PPE.
7. Performing routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
8. Fabricating repair parts using machine shop tools.
9. Documenting and communicating work actions, irregularities, and needs to maintain team continuity.
10. Using computer systems to document work and parts usage.
11. Communicating effectively via verbal, written, or electronic means.
12. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment in compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
13. Participating in the Emergency Response Team (mandatory).
14. Setting up and operating shop equipment.
15. Identifying and eliminating work hazards and understanding lock-out/tag-out procedures.
16. Conducting proper cleanup procedures.
17. Performing other duties as assigned by management.

The starting pay for this position is $35.99 per hour.
