Tescor is looking for an Electrical Technician responsible for reading prints, wiring control panels, and installing conduit for various custom equipment including walk-in freezers, environmental rooms, and automotive test benches.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet system specifications.
  2. Read and interpret process flow diagrams and engineering schematics.
  3. Build panels and install control wiring, including AC from 24 to 480 volts (single and three-phase), DC, and signal loops.
  4. Solder wiring, assemble, and pull wiring harnesses.
  5. Layout, cut, and install conduits and raceways.
  6. Layout, cut, thread, and connect rigid conduits to functional components.
  7. Layout, bend, and install flexible conduits (EMT) to process equipment.
  8. Mount components and assemble structural and functional systems.
  9. Verify electrical functionality of assembled machinery.
  10. Perform all work safely using appropriate safety equipment.
  11. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience with machines and tools, including design, repair, and maintenance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Proven control wiring and panel building skills, with experience in AC (24-480V, single and three-phase), DC, and signal loops.
  • Proficiency with electrical meters and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with wiring pumps, motors, heaters, valves, and similar equipment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate verbally and read in English.
  • Ability to walk, see with correction, hear, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and perform manual dexterity tasks.
  • Ability to use a computer and work overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically.

  • Standard hazards associated with office, manufacturing, testing environments, and travel.
