Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and make electrical repairs to CNC machine tools and related production equipment.
Design and build electrical panels to include transducers, switches, drives, power supplies.
Perform machine wiring.
Install electrical equipment for performance improving modifications to assembly machines and related production equipment.
Provide training to junior level technicians in all areas of repair and maintenance.
Perform preventive maintenance on machine tools and related production equipment.
Work on special projects including moving machines, and installing new or redesigned parts and systems to assembly machines and related production equipment.
Provide field service support to customers for repair and maintenance.
Document repairs and maintenance performed to machinery and associated equipment, utilizing correct documentation procedures.
Generate and implement maintenance procedures for assembly machines and related production equipment.
Experience working with electrical engineers integration activities as required.

Job Purpose: Texas Machine-Tool International, a manufacturer and rebuilder of machine tools is seeking a senior-level electrical technician for an hourly position in Waco Texas. The electrical technician must have a minimum of 10 years experience working in a manufacturing machining environment. Ability to drive a forklift, perform heavy lifting, read drawing schematics, and working knowledge of electrical components and wiring for machine builds. Applicant needs to have their own tools and toolbox. Some travel required. Experience with machine tools and industrial applications are a must. AS9100 or ISO shop experience preferred. Electrical trade school is a plus. Wage based on education and experience.
