Job description

Our client is a specialized electrical power services company supporting hyperscale data centers nationwide. They focus on inspection, commissioning, and troubleshooting of MV and LV electrical distribution equipment and are seeking Electrical Power Systems Technicians to support large-scale data center projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual and mechanical inspections of MV GIS switchgear and LV switchboards
• Verify installations meet manufacturer, project, and industry standards
• Produce inspection reports, checklists, photos, and technical documentation
• Support commissioning, testing, configuration, and issue resolution
• Troubleshoot control wiring and system issues
• Coordinate with contractors, OEMs, and project managers
• Follow OSHA, NFPA 70E, and Infinity TSD safety procedures

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience with MV and/or LV electrical power distribution equipment
• Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel nationally 80%+
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug screening
