Primary Function

Assembles custom wire harnesses and control box modules by interpreting blueprints, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Reports to the Production Foreman and ensures consistent, efficient workmanship in a team environment, meeting customer deadlines with quality products.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build control boxes and wire harnesses to blueprints, maintaining efficiency standards.
• Collaborate with engineering for revisions and component changes.
• Design wire harnesses for prototype electrical generators.
• Use wire cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering tools for assembly.
• Verify parts against specifications and blueprints.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical circuits, harnesses, and control boxes using digital multimeters.
• Complete all labor tracking and quality control documentation.
• Notify the production foreman upon assembly completion.
• Adhere to assembly processes, maintaining safety and cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
