Join our dynamic maintenance team as an Electrical Technician! You'll apply your electrical expertise to test, modify, and maintain operational machinery and control equipment. Your role includes assembling and testing motor-control devices, switch panels, transformers, solenoids, and other components. You'll diagnose and resolve electrical or mechanical malfunctions, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and handle hazardous waste management.
Position Scope
This is an in-office position that works out of the Gurnee, IL manufacturing site, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The Gurnee site is a 24/7 small batch chemical manufacturing operation, sitting on 13 acres.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Education & Experience:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent, electrician certification strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of industrial electrical experience; chemical manufacturing experience preferred.

Working Conditions
The job requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, kneel, bend, climb stairs and use ladders, and the ability to lift heavy equipment and tools.
Pay and Benefits
The estimated base pay range for this position is $31/hr – $46/hr. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive program.
