Job summary

Xyant Technology, Inc. in Georgetown, KY is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to install, test, and repair plant equipment and control systems. This onsite role offers 12-hour shifts with day/night options and premium overtime opportunities.

You will program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs, Kawasaki robots, servo drives, CNCs, and HMI systems, read schematics, and ensure compliance with NEC and local codes.

Qualifications

Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Georgetown, KY (Onsite) |Direct Client Need
Duration: Full Time / Direct Hire
Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7:00 – 7:20, day/night available). Only work half the month (4 days on Week 1, 3 days on Week 2).
Overtime & Premium Pay: Overtime after 36/40 hours. Night shift differential up to +$3.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and repair electrical plant machinery, support equipment, switchgear, motors, and transformers.
• Write, program, and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs, Kawasaki Robots, servo drives, CNC machines, and HMI applications.
• Diagnose and repair electrical circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, and network/Ethernet protocols.
• Read electrical schematics and ensure all work meets local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience with low/high voltage systems, industrial electrical systems, and hand/power tools. Technical knowledge of welding and machining is a plus.
• Must pass a hair follicle drug test, complete background check, physical, and E-Verify.
• Flexible to work day or night 12-hour shifts, including overtime, weekends, and shutdowns.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled, dirty environment (graphite facility).
