Job description

Sr. Electrical Construction Technical Services Lead

We will work on world‑class data center projects, leading technical construction services in electrical engineering and construction management to support our clients’ technology infrastructure needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance in resolving in‑progress issues, discrepancies, and disputes related to the technical interpretation of drawings and specifications, clarifying and expediting response as needed.
• Ensure liaison with home office engineering, outside engineering firms, and client representatives.
• Provide on‑site technical support for interpretation of engineering documents, specifications, and drawings, including input to the change management process.
• Engage in the permitting process and work with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Collaborate with design‑build contractors once their efforts move to the field.
• Effectively communicate with subcontractors, ensuring receipt and management of all key drawings and documents in a revision‑controlled manner.
• Lead the construction document management process, overseeing and guiding a construction document control lead.
• Act as a technically competent lead in responding to contractor or other party requests for specification deviations in work or work product, working within the project approved spec deviation process.
• Work with field quality, contractor, and home office engineering to resolve nonconformities (NCRs).
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the team toward achieving project objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering or 15–20 years of experience in construction management for heavy‑industrial process facilities, including life sciences and data centers.
• Understanding of construction‑oriented methods, codes, and standards.
• Experience interpreting home office engineering documents for construction purposes.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience, including certified technical training.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings.

Compensation

Base salary range: $114,400.00 to $157,200.00. Pay is determined by location and other factors including experience and education.
